Hi there…… I am finding that the Adkins/Cornstalk names are linked without question, it seems.
My family heritage seems to go like this….
—————————–
Parker Vincent Adkins married Mary Blue-Sky Cornstalk.
They had a son named William Adkins.
William Adkins had a daughter named Agnes, who married David Polly.
David Polly and Agnes Adkins Pauley had a son named Henry Polly.
Henry Pauley son named Mahoney, who is the oldest grave in the Pauley Cemetary.
Mahoney son named Coleman.
Coleman son named Overton.
Overton son named Arl.
Arl son named Raymond.
Raymond daughter named Juanita Danette Pauley-Tucker.
Juanita son named Christopher Tucker(ME)
——————————–
I found it pretty intriguing that my Mom’s first name is Juanita, named after a woman my grandmother respected greatly, and that the story about the “Indian woman” is part of someone else’s family.
My Mom is a beautiful dark haired and dark eyes woman who is said to be carrying that “Indian woman’s” blood in her veins.
Can you possibly substantiate the Adkins link to Cornstalk? Specifically Agnes Adkins-Pauley?
