I agree with you re his military service. I just wonder about the time frame of 1775-1777. He signed up for military service while he was with his parents. I guess if he went to Boonesborough in 1775, that means he returned home sometime after 1775 to be home to enlist in 1777. Yes, there are so many errors, even in the Draper papers from what I understand. So we are left with many questions.
