My name is Tommy Bradshaw. Elizabeth See was my 4th Great-grandmother on my fathers side. Elizabeth and twin sister Catherine and their mother and with others were taken by Shawnee Indians to Ohio. Their father and others were killed. All the captives were returned by a treaty after a year, except for Elizabeth. Elizabeth and Catherine were nine years old when Chief Cornstalk took them to Ohio. When Elizabeth was older Chief Cornstalk gave her to his son Chief Cornstalk number 8. They were married. They had a child White Wing. They left the Shawnee and she married her brothers neighbor and moved to Ohio. White Wing had several names (Big Nancy) and more. She married Mr. Adkins, later changed to Atkins and had several children. Chief Tecumseh tried to unite all the tribes. He took White Wing and Little Nancy. He married White Wing. She left her other children with their father. She had children with Tecumseh. On my Mothers side Lola Reaves we are related to Cornstalk ,cousins ?times removed? White Wing is my 5th Grandaunt?
