Hello Sheila! First of all, thank you so much for this incredible website! I am just beginning research on my family and wanted to see if I am on the right track with my Adkins line. The first Adkins in my line is Synthia (Cynthia) Adkins b. 1813; m. to Stephen Bartram in 1830; d. 1888. I have her parents as Jesse Adkins and Nancy Adkins – Jesse’s parents being Littleberry Adkins (b. 1767) and Nancy Anna Adkins (b. 1767). I have conflicting information on Nancy Anna Adkins’ parents. Parents of Littleberry being Parker (b. 1720) and Mary Polly Parker. Parents of Parker being William Adkins & Elizabeth Parker. I’m begging you to see if I have strayed down a wrong path! I am lucky enough to live in Richmond and the Library of Virginia has a lot of county record information. I will be heading there one day this week and will be working on this line as well as lots of others. I just wanted to know if you could let me know if I am headed in the right direction!
