Many “Joseph Adkins” researchers have assumed that Joseph’s father was another Joseph. This was based on the needle in a haystack theory. With nothing to go on we applied the Joseph…Joseph…..son of Joseph legacy naminng. Not so in this Joseph’s case. His father was and is Bartlett Adkins. b. abt 1785.
