Comment on Robertson by Dan H. Robertson

I am seeking the parents of SAMUEL ROBERTSON b. circa May 30, 1803 in Big Shanty, Cobb Co., GA. Big Shanty became Acworth, GA shortly after Samuel’s birth. I have documented his marriage to Celia Martin on Jan. 29, 1824 in Jackson, GA. Samuel is my GGGrandfather and I am at a “dead end” in trying to go back further in my ancestors search process.
Samuel and Celia’s son Elijah Robertson b. circa 1833 is my GGrandfather and his son John R. Robertson was my Grandfather. John R. Robertson moved to Stoddard Co., MO shortly after the end of the Civil War where he married Arilia Chasteen. They then moved to Sapulpa, Creek Co., OK in the 1920s where they lived the rest of their lives.
