It is good to get back on this website. I too have tried to find a grave for both Norris Metcalf (bn 1765) and my 2nd great grandfather James Metcalf (bn 1794).
My great grandfather, William Metcalf, was the first person on the 1860 Jackson County Census.I just got back from Jackson County, KY. I will be going back within a month to care for some graves and do some research. If any of you have anything you want me to research let me know. If you have any new info on the Metcalfs I’d love to hear from you. I have been kind of dormant for a while but am back at it hot and heavy again.
