We’ll we just about have to be related, way up the tree. A. R. Adkins family from Kentucky & West Virginia on one side and Elias B Adkins from North Carolina & Kentucky on the other. I just need to tie them to the next level up. I’m just about 95% sure where A. R. Adkins goes, but need to verify that information, but as for Elias, I have no idea. He is going to be hard to track. I’m not sure at this stage if he was in fact the father or Grandfather raising his son ex-wife and kids. It could go either way. Knowing the Adkins, I’d say he was the father, but can’t tie him to her family in the 1860′s. I’ll keep looking.
Right now, my cherry pie is out of the oven and I’m getting ready to bake some Santa cookies with my Granddaughter Trinity. I know Santa loves strawberry & lemon, so we’re about to mix up the batches now.
