my great grandmother was lizzie spencer born in 1890. she married marion adkins who had been married before. they finally lived in wolfe county, ky. marion died in the 1940′s and lizzied lived in ohio til her death in 1987. i have heard that there is cherokee blood lines on lizzie’s side of the spencer family. her mother was possibly a Shepherd or shephard by maiden name. please send me any information on this side of the family if possible. thank you.
