Hello I believe to be a descendant of the Fugates. Just a little background to get there. My grandmother Flossie Dorton Smith, her dad (GG) Elbert Filmore Dorton,(2cnd gf)) Colbert Dorton, (3rd gf ) William Dorton who married(3rd gm) Mary Fugate. So here it begins her dad Colbert Fugate (4th gf), then (5th gf) Martin Fugate,and so on.. so could you confirm any of this. Thanks ♥
