Hi Sheila, I have been looking for my childrens, possible Cherokee heritage.The lineage of my husband was Donald Lee Hall b10-25-40,d2-20-08,.Clyde Allen Hall 12-12-15-Quapaw ,OK.,Terry Lee Hall Quapawb?/d?,his wife was Canzaly Allen Hall moved from Ok. to Flint , Mi. where she died in the 1930,s. Her parents were Dr. John Bunyon (or i)Allen and Evalina McDaniel Allen B.6-23-1858 Quicksand,Breathitt,Ky.,d.4-7-1925 in Quapaw, paper article said Miami-Ottawa Co.,Ok.Showed grave marker. These facts I know for certain. Next is where it gets shady because I found a site that said her father was Alexander McDaniel and mother, Marthann Frazier found they were married Aug.4,1857.Found nothing on Marthann, and Alexander lead to Breathitt Co., ky., but doesn’t say wife or children. Found one site that says Alexander’s mother was Elizabeth McDaniel and one place said husband was Preston Howard, another site says Elizabeth McDaniel b1822 was married to William Craft b1820…then on that same site it says Evolina McDaniel’s B was1856 d.1927 and was married to Keenas T. Daniel. Neither Evalina had a Canzaly, however, the crazy thing about the two is that the b./d. dates are almost the same…only similarity. Don’t really know what the question is , except to say many. If you can shed any light I’d really appreciate it.
