I have a genealogy question for you. There is John Pearson b.1760 who is married to a Betsy, who might be a Godsey. Could this couples actually be John Pearson who married Betsy Goodrich/Goodridge in Orange Co, VA in 1788. The ages and dates fit quite well. Betsy Goodr*** was 21 years of age at her marriage making her dob 1767 or so. Witness to the wedding was Priscilla Franklin (probably related to the John Franklin that married Mary Pearson, sister of John) and Killis Oliver was the bondsman. Oldest son is named Achilles. Coincidence?
