Hello Shelia, Wrote to you about my grandfather, Joseph Newton Howard. Now I have another question. Do you know when or where Joseph W. Howard, his father died? The last I have of him was the 1900 census that showed him with his second wife, Jennie. I’ve searched for three years and can’t find any mention of him other than the 1900 census. He was the County Attorney for Magoffin County, KY in the late 1800′s and early 1900. There doesn’t seem to be so much as a snapshot of him. Hard to imagine there wouldn’t have been some mention of him, seeing that he was in politics.
