I may be way off base here but I am desperate so here it goes. My ggggrandfather was Robert Adkins born 1790 Georgia married Mary Johnson. My DNA shows a connection to William V Adkins and other Adkins in Virginia and Tennessee. He seems to have made a break from the other Adkins and moved to south Alabama and I can find no paper trail to tell me who his father was. Any help, ideas, suggestions will be appreciated.
