My husband’s grandmother recently took an autosomal DNA test and comes back as a match with six descendants of William Adkins and Elizabeth Parker. I know that she has Adkins in her tree, however they have been a bit of mystery due to a child being born out of wedlock. Her ancestor was M. Adkins who had a child with a man with the last name of Burgess. Their daughter Evaline was born in 1874 in Logan Co, WV. Somehow her M. Adkins must be descended from William Adkins and Elizabeth Parker.
