I have been doing some research on the Adkins family. I have traced my great-grandfather Phineas, Phiness, Finis, Finess(Spelled in different site areas)Adkins. He was the son of Joseph, who was the son of Winston Oliver Adkins, who was the son of Winright Adkins born in 1837, and Winrighthe son of Henry Adkins. As I continue I find that this traces back to John Thomas Adkins. Any further information would be helpful.
