I’m a descendant of John Linville Craft, the son of John Craft and Susanna Hagins. Although I have also have used the name, John “Wilhelm” Craft, but after my research and after 30 years of research on this Craft family done by a Craft cousin, we found no solid proof that my g-g-grandfather John Craft had a middle name. First of all, John Craft had a brother, William, and the name “William” comes from the old German name “Wilhelm”. And secondly, these Crafts were not German.
