That was great. Thanks for the comment. It made me laugh, because that was almost word for word what I would have said.
I have so many people that I couldn’t even begin to list.
My hubby would have been first. He has been the greatest influence in my life.
Then my mom, I do miss her. She taught me some crazy things. How to cook and enjoy it; things like that.
My children, without them, my life would be unadventurous.
My dad for making me realize that people have depths that we can never know or begin to understand. That every man carries secrets from the cradle to his grave. And no man can understand what he has gone through until he has walked every day of his life with him.
My sisters, for they know me like no other person can. They can see my faults and know where they came from and are willing to be blind to them.
My brothers for making me question everything; good, bad and everything in between.
My aunts for making me laugh and being spunky in all the right ways. My uncles for letting me ask questions and drive them crazy when they refused to answer.
My friends for being long suffering.
My cousins for always being a plenty! I once made a joke that I couldn’t throw a rock without hitting a cousin, because I have so many. That could possibly be what I am most grateful for. Life give us one set of parents, but family gives us hundreds of cousins, no matter how near or distant.
Family makes a us grateful!
PS: I cheated… I’m not that fast a typist, but I came close. NOT! LOL
Thanks as always and welcome to the Family,
Sheila Jean Adkins Metcalf
