Comment on Chocolate Gravy by Sheila

Wow! Sounds wonderful. Thank you.

I’m still a little leery, I have to admit, but want to try it. I made everything tonight, but the gravy (Hubby got home late). So just the ham biscuits and fried eggs, with red grape snippet garnishes. Followed by a very large glass of peppermint eggnog punch. I chickened out so to speak (sh). The Grands will be here this weekend, so I’ll try it out on them. The kids always tell you the truth so I’ll know instantly if I make it any good.

This recipe sounds like the way my mom started making her chocolate fudge, except she started everything on the burner in a dutch oven (big family). Her fudge was amazing.

With this recipe, I’m game. I may have to make it a time or two to see if I make it right. Sherry says its to die for, so I’m going to make it and see. And here, I didn’t think there was much out there I hadn’t tried, at some point or other, until this came up in conversation today.

Chocolate gravy, who would have thought…hum.
