You’re welcome. My mom was a huge pickle maker as well. I miss that so much. I apologize for not responding sooner, it just makes me a little emotional when I think of this. Crazy to admit, I know, but emotional just the same. As for the food coloring, my daughters think that the fd&c is going to kill us all. I like using soda to keep color, but either way, use them sparingly. Let me say, if you make them, can you save me jar? LOL
