Anita & Judy – Wonder if you (or others on this blog) have been able to get any more information about the ancestors of John Johnson. He and Rosanna Monroe Adkins are my 2nd great grandparents and this has been a brick wall for several of us who have been collaborating on our trees. What I currently have is a William (or “Billy”) Johnson as John Johnson’s father (source is “family lore”) b1775 (possibly in England/Ireland or North Carolina) d1848 in Tennessee (best guess is Coal Creek, Anderson, TN). No wife’s name, but children could be James, William, “Lottie” (Charlotte?), Susanna b1804, John b1806 (my 2 GGF), and “Betsy” (Elizabeth?) b1810. Will do some research over the next month or so, but if anyone has additional information or can verify or correct what I already have, it would be much appreciated.
Judy – Do they still hold “Johnson Reunions” in the Chandlerville area?
