Some of our Adkins kin married Hatfileds. I counted 5 Adkins who married Hatfields and 4 who married McCoys. I couldn’t find any of our direct ancestors married into either line–just just the ones who are various degrees of cousins to us. My niece told me her first husband was descended from THE Mcoys.
